The Museum of Modern History of Korea preserves the relics of daily lives from decades ago. Relive the time when the flicker of an oil stove and the comfort of a simple meal illuminated life. The exhibition showcases 42 carefully curated sets, each telling a thematic story. From traditional thatched-roofed houses to old post offices, vintage coffee shops to corner stores, the museum's lifelike displays provide an immersive learning experience. Delve into the past with scenes of hillside village life, standing-and-eat taverns, and charmingly nostalgic photo studios. step into a stationery store, classroom, record shop, or even a Chinese restaurant. The outdoor exhibition hall captures modern cultural shifts, recreating dragonfly airplanes, analog appliances, and bicycles-turned-motorcycles. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10AM to 6AM, with an entry fee of 7,000won for adults, and 5,000 won for children.
