Nagtabon Beach is a mile long stretch of sand that doesn’t put on airs. It’s somewhere most tourists have never heard of, meaning it’s still a hangout for those who just want to relax in the sun. There’s no reef because of the waves and currents, but this also means it’s an increasingly popular surf spot, especially in winter. Though the more modest summer swells are perfect if you’re still trying to learn. If you need to get out of the sun, you can lounge under the countless palm trees, rent out a wooden hut, or hang at one of the food stands for some cheap local eats. If you’re lucky, you might even see turtles hatching!
