Uganda
This charming local restaurant is cut in half by the equator.
Situated 6,025 miles from the North and South Poles, a small restaurant straddles the Uganda Equator. A yellow line cuts its way across a busy village road, passing through a pair of bright white circles that bearing the words “Uganda Equator.” While the rings themselves are totally ‘grammable, the establishment also offers a series of “water experiments” to see the equator’s gravitational curiosities (and you even get an “equatorial certificate” for completing them). The Equator Line Restaurant is a great place to enjoy some Ugandan-grown coffee and traditional food while bouncing between hemispheres.
