Brazil
Splash around at Latin America’s most popular water park.
Thermas Water Park is one of the most modern in Brazil, and a must-visit for anyone who loves watery fun. After passing through the entrance gate, you’ll have your choice of 11 pools, and 10 waterslides to splash around in. While the slides aren’t the biggest or most extreme, what makes Thermas special is it’s fed by thermal spring water. For many visitors, the main attraction is just hanging out on the artificial white sand beach around the warm swimming pools. If you’re traveling with kids, there’s plenty to keep them entertained - from a massive shallow swimming pool and small water slides to “pre-historic world” with 30 massive dinosaur replicas, and a small zoo at Vô Bráulio Ranch. Please note: Thermas Water Park is extremely popular, so it’s best to get there early and buy tickets in advance at https://www.thermas.com.br/ Photo by José Cezário under CC BY-SA 4.0
