Designed by Italian architects, Beiteddine Palace seamlessly blends traditional Arab design elements, offering visitors a unique and enchanting experience. Its name, "House of Faith," pays homage to the ancient Druze hermitage that once occupied the site. The palace complex features multiple courtyards, each with its unique charm. The outer courtyard, Dar Al Baraniyyeh, served as a gathering place for horsemen and visitors. On the upper floor, the Rashid Karami Archeological and Ethnographic Museum houses a diverse collection, including pottery, Roman glass, gold jewelry, and more. The central courtyard, Dar Al Wousta, boasts a tranquil fountain. Beyond it lies the innermost courtyard, Dar Al Harim, which once housed family quarters, a hammam, and vast kitchens. Notably, the palace hosts a renowned arts festival during the summer months.
