While it doesnтАЩt have the same name-recognition as the WolfтАЩs Lair, where the most famous assassination attempt on Hitler took place, this fortified railroad house is one of only 14 bunkers considered F├╝hrer Headquarters. During the war, Hitler never visited the complex, and thus, it was never a target for Allied attack. Today, the straight, 380 meter long tunnel houses exhibitions on military engineering, including bunkers, trains, and armaments, as well as life in the bunkers.
