您的行程一览

Bran Castle commands a mountain pass between Transylvania and Wallachia from a rocky crag of considerable natural drama — a 14th-century fortress of white towers and dark corridors whose association with Bram Stoker's Dracula has made it the most visited castle in Romania, regardless of whether the literary connection holds up to scrutiny.
What to see
- The castle interior — four floors of period furnishings, secret passages, and a central courtyard; the collection of medieval weapons and Queen Marie's personal apartments are the historical highlights
- The castle grounds — terraced gardens and viewpoints over the pass below
- The village market at the castle entrance — Transylvanian crafts, embroidered textiles, and wood carvings
What to eat
- Mici (grilled minced meat rolls with mustard) and cozonac (sweet braided bread with walnut filling) from the market stalls at the castle base

Râșnov Fortress crowns a limestone ridge above the Bârsa valley as one of the best-preserved peasant fortresses in Transylvania — a 13th-century refuge built to shelter the entire population of the surrounding villages during raids, its walls enclosing a self-sufficient hilltop community of houses, a church, and a well.
What to see
- The fortress enclosure — the curtain wall encloses a village of medieval houses, a church, and a well dug 143 metres through solid rock at enormous human cost during a prolonged siege
- The panoramic views — Râșnov fortress gives one of the most commanding views in the Bucegi Mountains, with the Bucegi massif and the Bran pass visible on clear days
- The descent through the old town — the medieval streets of Râșnov below the fortress reward a slow walk before the return to Brașov
Take note
- Râșnov fortress is a considerably quieter and less crowded experience than Bran; arriving in the late afternoon gives the best light on the walls and the mountains
