Denmark
Learn to cook, hunt, and make goods just like the ancient vikings in this fantastical recreation of a viking village.
Built in 980 AD, one of the famous ring castles discovered in Denmark has been turned into a viking park. People dress in traditional garb and show you how the vikings lived, as well as provide activities that will get you into the viking spirit! You can practice your archery, bake traditional flatbread, and even forge your own tools. You can see the remnants of the ring castle—an exact circle with four gates opposite each other—and reconstructions of traditional viking longhouses. Fun for all ages, there is even a mythological playground for kids!
