At just over 1000 meters high, Ještěd Mountain is the tallest peak it in Ještěd-Kozákov Ridge. While it’s elevation offers views of the Czech countryside, and into Germany and Poland. Since 1906, a hotel has stood on the peak, but after the original building burned down in the 60s, a futuristic building was erected in its stead. The unique hyperboloid-shaped structure with its 100 meter tall television tower also houses a restaurant, allowing visitors to a warm meal while soaking in the stupendous views.
