The Julio Florez House Museum holds a special place in the hearts of Colombian literati and bohemians. It was in this quiet house that the poet lived out his later years, after he’d published some of the last and greatest Romantic poems in Colombia, and gained national fame for both his written works and his recitals. The 19th century homestead has been fully restored to its original state, with white-washed walls and a thatched roof, while the interior is filled with antique furnishings, as well as the poets belongings and works. In the square in front of the house, there’s a small market where you can peruse locally made handicrafts.

Yes! A return trip will take you back to your city of origin in the same size car in which you arrived. Return trips can be booked for the any day. You can also add customized sightseeing stops separately for each trip! Don’t worry if you don’t know your exact address at the time of booking - you’ll have the opportunity to update us closer to your travel date. Make sure to select “Return” when you start the booking process, then choose the dates and times of your departures.

Depending where you travel, you can book anything from a sedan comparable to a Toyota Corolla to a Mercedes V-Class to a Classic Cuban Car. While the exact model may vary, we always ensure that the vehicle provided meets your needs in terms of safety, reliability, and comfort. You may be upgraded to a larger vehicle class free of charge depending on availability. Since our largest vehicle seats 7, for groups larger a combination of vehicles will be used.
