Buddha Museum

This collection of 2,000 Buddhas offers peace, tranquility, and education.

About

Housed in a renovated winery, this museum is the result of one man's desire to bring a piece of Asia to a land of wine and catholicism. Among the 2000 Buddhas in the museum visitors can see one of the oldest ever found, as well as the smallest as recorded by the Guinness Book of Records. Buddha is kept company by his distant relatives, the Arhats and Bodhisattvas. The roof-garden offers wonderful views of the Mosel, and is a peaceful place to join the Buddhas outside. The friendly and helpful staff are there for simply curious and the devout Buddhist alike.
