The Cascada El Chuveje streams down a 50 meter high cliff to come crashing down into a forested gorge. The crystal clear water then flows through the jungle in a series of smaller cascades and pools, which you walk beside to reach the main attraction. The thirty minute hike itself is an attraction of its own, showcasing the region's diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. If you work up a sweat during the hike you can take a dip to cool off, but be ready - the water is frigid!
