Once you’re back on the forest floor, experience the magic of the Butterfly Garden and witness some of Costa Rica’s most colorful wildlife! If you’ve still not had your fill of the forest, you can hike to the Pura Vida Gardens or to the impressive Catarata Bijagual waterfall, one of the tallest waterfalls in Costa Rica. For even more adventure, ATV and 4x4 tours will take you deeper into the jungle. When morning comes, head to the beach! Surf schools hold classes for all abilities; even the most inexperienced will get their chance to ride a gnarly wave. Climb to the El Miro ruins to see all the action from above. This panoramic vista will be the envy of everyone back home. As the sun sets, kick back and relax at Jaco’s exotic beach bars or gaze across the horizon from horseback, along this 2.5-mile (4 km) stretch of volcanic coastline.
