The three-tiered Kawasan Falls are one of Cebu’s most iconic cascades. Erupting from the jungle and plunging into a pool of bright blue water, the first and largest section is popular among tourists and locals alike. Along with swimming in the cool waters, you can rent a bamboo raft and float your way beneath the falling water for a natural shower and massage. There’s even a restaurant to the side where you can have a bite to eat. While most people stop at the first section, a stairway leads to up to the second section, which is slightly smaller but less crowded and still great for swimming. A more demanding hike brings you to the even smaller, and even less crowded third section. If you’re looking for something more adventurous, you can sign up for a canyoneering adventure that takes about 2-3 hours and will have you jumping off cliffs up to 30 feet high.
