Mothman Museum

Learn about the infamous cryptid that’s terrorized this West Virginia in the 60s.

About

The Mothman Museum details every aspect of the local supernatural creature that has since gained international fame. Think of it as the region’s Bigfoot or Loch Ness Monster. Just in case you’re unfamiliar with the Mothman, the story goes that back in 1966, residents of Point Pleasant began seeing a “large flying man with ten-foot wings”. The sightings continued until December 15, 1967, when the Silver Bridge collapsed, killing 46 people. Within the museum, you’ll learn a bit about the legend, and a lot about its legacy. Check out the world’s largest collection of props and memorabilia from “The Mothman Prophecies”, plus press archives and rare collectibles.
