Opened in 2009, the Porsche Museum’s modern structure reflects its futuristic vision. Here a ‘rolling’ exhibit of around 80 cars from the company’s prestigious history are on display, ranging from the iconic 911, to early protoypes, to cutting-edge racers. Modern innovations, such as the Microsoft HoloLense give visitors an indepth look at Porsche’s design and innovation process, and allow for ‘mixed reality’ tours. The ‘Porsche in the Mix’ sound system is the only one of its kind in the world, where visitors can combine the characteristic sounds of various Porsche models into a cohesive composition. Visitors can even get behind the wheel of some of Porsche’s most iconic models.
