Stone Garden Citatah
With its remarkable rock formations, caves, and evidence of early Neolithic settlements in Java, this prehistoric park is a sight-seeing haven.
About
Stone Garden Citatah is a renowned prehistoric park nestled within limestone hills and contains geological formations that date back 30 million years to the Miocene era. Leisurely explore the prehistoric rocks and climb the highest one, known as Puncak Panyawangan, to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. Relax in hammocks suspended between high rocks, sit on chairs affixed safely to the cliffâs edge, or activate your adrenaline by taking a zip line or tackling a rock climbing wall from RP 15,000 per activity. The park offers âThe Indian Experienceâ, allowing you to channel your inner Indian warrior or cowboy by riding horses across the stone garden, which resembles a smaller version of Arizonaâs Red Rocks from the frontier era. If youâre an archaeology buff, enter the Pawon Cave in the northern part of Stone Garden Citatah for RP 5,000 and gain a glimpse into ancient human life, with artifacts such as wooden tools, pottery and stone weapons still laid out. The park operates from 6AM to 5PM every day with an entry fee of RP 14,000.
