Nestled on the banks of the Muar River, the Tanjung Emas Park is the perfect way to experience the region’s finest city. Visitors can walk along the riverside to watch the boats go by, see the many historic buildings that line the river, and maybe even meet some of the monkeys that live in the mangrove. If you’d rather get even closer to the water while learning about one of Malaysia’s cleanest cities, the hour-long Muar River Cruise departs from the park.
