Around the 10th century, an abbey was constructed in the lush hills near the Cotes de Provence. In the 14th century, the Roseline, daughter of the Marquis de Villeneuve, became the Prioress of the abbey, leading with piety and community involvement until her death in 1329. In the 19th century, she was sanctified, and the abbey rebaptised Saint Roseline in her honor. In 1994, Bernard Teillaud purchased the estate to continue its history of viticulture dating back to the 14th century, while while turning it into an artistic destination. The interior was completely renovated without alteration to its historical features. Thanks to this, visitors can enjoy the contemporary winery, tour the cellars, and have a tasting, and enjoy the serene cloisters, and medieval chapel, and even see the remains of Saint Roseline herself.
