Guj┼Н Hachiman Castle sits on a stunning hillside, built in 1559 by a local feudal lord as a strategic stronghold during the Warring States Period. Visitors can ascend the castle to enjoy breathtaking vistas of the castle town and the Okumino Mountains. The view is especially beautiful during the autumn leaf season in early to mid-November when the surrounding maple trees burst into vibrant colors. Guj┼Н Hachiman Castle is open to visitors, offering a glimpse into Japan's feudal past and providing captivating views of its natural surroundings. Admission is 400 yen for access to the castle only and 750 yen for the Hakurankan Museum, with varying opening hours throughout the year to accommodate seasonal changes.
