Cheese Farm Palava opened its doors in 2014 and offers a unique opportunity to for visitors to taste fresh cheese at its source.
Focusing on the production of cow and goat cheeses, all cheese are sustainably produced and flavoured using the farm’s own supply of herbs, nuts, and chilies. Of course, visitors can also taste the fresh cheese in their natural state without any added flavourings. The flagship of the farm is its Kienberg cheese, a one-of-a-kind product created using the farm’s own recipe. Visitors can also combine a tasting of the farm’s cheeses with a tasting of carefully selected wines, where they will also have the opportunity to learn about the history of the farm and the production of its individual cheeses. The farm is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Friday through Sunday.
