The car trip from Antalya to Kas covers an impressive distance of 116 miles (188 km) in just 3 hours. With a Daytrip private transfer, the drive can be turned into an exciting sightseeing tour of Turkey with optional stops along the way.
For instance, travelers can visit the Tunektepe Cable Car, which took over 30 years to construct and has only been open to the public since 2017. The cable car journey provides visitors with incredible views along the Tünek Tep mountain until you reach the viewing area at the top complete with lounge chairs for soaking up the dramatic panorama.
Or, visit the Folkloric Yoruk Parki, where you can learn about the traditions and culture of Turkey’s famous nomads, the Yörüks. Visitors can explore tents constructed using traditional methods and filled with objects common to the life of the nomads. The park’s cafe even offers travelers samples of the nomads’ specialties.
Your Antalya to Kas transfer will deposit you in a small, charming fishing village that appears as if it's spilling down a hill directly into the Mediterranean Sea. Kas has shifted over the years into an economy more reliant on tourism. But its aquatic and agricultural roots are still evident in the traditional and coastal flair of the town’s decor and hospitality.
The peninsula that Kas rests on was active during the Stone Age, but the founding of the city itself is credited to the Lycian League. The town was an important Greco-Roman foothold, famous for its exports of natural resources such as timber and sponges. After the 1923 war between Turkey and Greece, the Greek population abandoned Kas, and many Greek buildings still stand in ruin today.
The city experienced a huge growth in tourism in the late 1990s, which expanded the development of Kas significantly. Still, the heart of the town remains as quaint and charming as ever, lying between the staggering Taurus Mountains and the glittering Mediterranean Sea.
The area is popular for its incredible beaches, shopping, and cuisine, as well as for its proximity to fascinating day trip destinations. For instance, a swift boat transfer can transport visitors from Kas to the nearby Greek island of Kastellorizo under 4 miles away (6 km.)
The waters around Kas are also world-famous for their scuba diving opportunities, due to the crystalline waters and the amount of submerged shipwrecks turned into artificial reefs just beyond the bay.

“Last minute plan change and Daytrip was our last resort so I chatted with them and had an immediate response from a real person, best situation ever. Never used Daytrip before but the reviews were incredible so we took the chance and booked a driver at like 11-12pm and by 7am the next morning when we woke, they found us a driver and the driver had already texed us making contact! Very impressed and will definitely use them again. We went from Dubrovnik, Croatia to Tivat, Montenegro.”

Oct 5, 2024“We used Daytrip.com for 4 trips within Italy. This door-to-door service is not inexpensive. That said: All 4 drivers arrived on time. All spoke fluent English. All were excellent drivers, and all were kind and considerate. Lots of other things went wrong on this trip, but Daytrip.com did exactly what they promised.”
