Though Emboscada translates to “Ambush” in English because of ancient tribal warfare in the area, and is also called the “Stone City” after its significant mining industry, the town's true character is much more charming. At the “Park of the Pyramids,” a series of small Pyramids have been oriented to follow the shape of the constellation Orion.
