The Gardens of the World were first planted in 1990 with a simple goal in mind: to share a bit of botanical paradise with the public. The flora is grouped geographically, meaning you can explore the exotic species of Asia before stepping into a formal rose garden or seeing the trees of Europe. At the herb garden, you have the chance to see the source of some of your favorite flavors, while the plants in the herbaceous area attract flitting butterflies. The Gardens of the World are also home to many species of native bird, so keep an eye out! The beautiful green surrounds also make the gardens a popular destination for special events, including birthday parties, picnics, and weddings.
