Designed and built in the early 1950s, this aluminum geodesic sphere was unveiled at the Brussels World Expo in 1958, and became a national sensation at the Budapest International Fair. In the late 60’s it was placed in its current picturesque location - albeit without the glass windows it was intended to have. Today, visitors can enjoy the quirky architectural style and stupendous panoramic views of the lake below.
