The Gurye region is widely recognized as the leading producer of sansuyu, accounting for 70% of Korea's production. The Gurye Sansuyu Village, nestled at the foot of the southwestern side of Manbokdae Mountain within this region, is considered the most emblematic sansuyu village. The village boasts a breathtaking natural landscape, with the snow-covered Jirisan Mountain range at its back and a charming valley to its right. The sansuyu flowers in the village typically reach full bloom in late March, drawing crowds of tourists. Visitors also have the opportunity to unwind at the nearby hot spring complex, known for its germanium content, which is beli to have various health benefits.
