The Maryhill Winery in Goldendale, Washington offers spectacular views from its tasting room terrace. Sit back with a glass of wine in hand and take in the panoramic views of Mount Hood and the Columbia River. The winery has received more than 3,000 accolades since producing its first vintage in 2001. Its lovingly produced wine now attracts more than 75,000 visitors each year. The heart of the winery is the large tasting room and gift shop, which sits against a backdrop of Mount Hood through the large windows in the west. Expert sommeliers serve classic and reserve wine flights to the guests for a fee that is redeemable against purchases from the on-site store, and weâre certain youâll be buying a bottle or two after your tasting experience. If youâre feeling peckish, pair your wine with a charcuterie board, some antipasti or some small sharing plates made using local, seasonal produce.
