The gateway to the Weissbach Nature Park, the history of Seisenberg Gorge begins some 12,000 years ago with the end of the last Ice Age. It wasn't until woodcutters constructed wooden pathways through the gorge in 1831 that it was transformed from a natural formation into a natural monument. As you work your way along the walkways past waterfalls and rock formations, it sometimes feels like you're walking on another planet. Take a short break to escape into this refreshing gorge to explore this natural phenomenon, or make an extended expedition into the mixed alpine forest.
