Designed and built in the early 1950s, this aluminum geodesic sphere was unveiled at the Brussels World Expo in 1958, and became a national sensation at the Budapest International Fair. In the late 60âs it was placed in its current picturesque location 60 meters above the shores of Lake Balaton. Today, visitors can enjoy the quirky architectural style and stupendous panoramic views of the lake below.
