Tolaga Bay Wharf
Surrounded by white cliffs, New Zealandâs second-longest wharf is a popular place to relax, and do a bit of fishing.
Om
Built in 1929, the 660-meter-long Tolaga Bay Wharf held the title of the countryâs longest wharf until 1971 - 4 years after it had stopped being used by ships. Recently renovated, the wharf is now a staple of the local community, offering spectacular views of the sea and plenty of places to sit and relax. Since the wharf extends far out into deep water, itâs especially popular as a fishing spot. Thereâs two food trucks on site, so you can enjoy a snack or meal while watching the waves role in.
