Zbrasov
No need to wrap up too warm when visiting the beautiful caves at Zbraƥov as regardless of the weather outside, they maintain a comfortable all-year-round temperature of 57°F.
Om
Located in the protected area of PĆerov and designated as a Natural National Landmark of the Czech Republic, the caves were first opened to the public in 1926. The warm mineral water rises up from great depths to form spectacular sights, filling the caves with stalagmite aragonite formations that are said to resemble geysers and donuts. The lower levels of the caves are filled with spectacular gas âlakesâ of carbon dioxide. The furthest part of the caves, known as the Marble Hall, is used to host exhibitions and chamber music recitals throughout the year. Visitors need to take a tour to view the caves, which takes just under an hour and involves covering 375 meters, which is about a third of the total length of the caves, which is 1,322 meters. ZbraĆĄov caves are a stop-off that will delight and enthrall both amateur geologists and adventurers of all ages.
