Cogges Manor Farm is a 13th-century stone manor surrounded by a sprawling farm, complete with authentic historic buildings. The site is a heritage center highlighting rural life from the Victorian era through the 1940s. Fans of “Downton Abbey” will recognize the main manor house as the filming location for the Yew Tree Farm, home to Mr. Drewe and his foster daughter, Marigold (Lady Edith’s daughter). Visit the Victorian kitchen, barns, stables, and dairy featured in the show and learn more about life in this era through demonstrations with vintage tools and visits with rare breeds of farm animals. The farms are open for tours on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 16:00, and on the weekends from 10:00 to 17:00. The site's kitchen is open daily from 9:00 to 16:30.
