约克佐诺特水潭直径40米，是尤卡坦地区最大的水潭之一。被茂密的丛林包围，古树的根悬挂在这座“开放式”水潭18米高的墙壁上，形成一条木头瀑布。与许多水潭不同，约克佐诺特周围的区域并没有被开发。相反，当地社区的两位女性亲手铺设了步道上的每一块石头，并手工切割木栏杆，以保护该地的自然美。这里唯一的建筑是带有草顶的洗手间和一家提供传统当地美食的小餐馆。与水潭的常规做法一样，进入水中前请勿使用防晒霜或驱虫剂！
