Kenya is famed worldwide for its top quality coffee, and the Karunguru Coffee Estate prides itself on producing just that. Cultivating coffee since 1928, the estate is proud to invite guests to learn about the trade and enjoy a cup (or two) of the good stuff while they’re at it. The estate welcomes visitors to enjoy a tour, which includes lunch, for a real insight into Kenya’s coffee industry. You’ll have a history of the farm and the opportunity to see the coffee-making process - from plant, to bean, to cup! Of course, no visit would be complete without tasting a selection of the fine coffee produced on-site, and beans and grounds are available to purchase so you can take a cup of Kenya home with you. Note that pre-booking is essential and the tour lasts 5 hours, so please adjust the duration of your stop accordingly if you wish to join!
