Lae Golf Club, established in 1951, holds a remarkable history as it was formed on the grounds of a former US military ordnance depot. Beyond golfing, Lae Golf Club offers an array of facilities, including tennis courts, a bowling green, a basketball court, and an upcoming world-class driving range. The Clubhouse, with its capacity of over 200, stands as a central hub. Designed to capture natural breezes, it features the Main Bar, Bungaraya Café, Gaming Lounge, and Trophy Room. The second building houses the Huon Club and the renowned Bungaraya Chinese and Malay Restaurant, each adding to the unique experience. The club's tennis complex, together with the Lae Tennis Club, hosts tournaments like the Panamex Lae Tennis Open and the Lae Tennis Club Corporate Series. Prices start from 9 holes at K50 per person.
