Hungary
Representing the Magyar tribes who founded Hungary, seven huge arrows on a hill at the National Heritage Park of Ópusztaszer are a piece of history in Hungary.
This park has a number of memorials and statues dedicated to precious moments in Hungary’s history. The park consists of five areas: The Rotunda, The Monastery, Skasen, The Nomadic Park and Csete-Turts. In addition to those, in 1896 the Árpád Memorial was erected to commemorate the thousandth anniversary of the Hungarian Conquest. Right next to this gem holding the facts of the past is a truly unique experience to Central Europe, a maze. The Csillagösvény Maze Eco Adventure Park is the largest in Europe and was built from natural materials found in the surrounding areas. This amazing experience is powered by solar panels and its flora and fauna offer an interesting perspective to Hungary’s story.
