To it first explorers, this cave’s amazing formations were absolutely heavenly.
Only discovered in 2005, Paradise Cave was given its befitting name by the British spelunkers who first plumbed its 31 km passageway, and emerged gobstruck by spectacular stalactites and stalagmites within. To reach the cave, visitors can opt for a rather long hike through the jungle, or pay for an electric buggy ride right to the entrance. The main tour brings visitors 1 kilometer into the cave, where stairs and paths bring you through chambers that can reach up to to 72 m in height. When the light falls on the formations like the Galaxy Waterfall and the Moon Rabbit, it’s easy to see why the first explorers were so smitten with the cave.
