The area is renowned for its vineyards, and locals come here to taste a local variety of grapes and Halloumi cheese. Old Pissouri has been carefully preserved to retain its unique architecture and traditional way of living. The village square and amphitheater play host to annual celebrations and each residential building is decorated in a unique way. Nicknamed "The Edge of Heaven" and sometimes referred to as ‘Little Italy’, Old Pissouri is a haven for culture seekers.
