The Puerta del Diablo, a natural red stone wall split asunder marks the entrance to a rugged desert landscape littered with imposing rock formations. Follow the trail on foot (or join a horseback tour from the nearby town of Tupiza) to venture out into this inhospitable landscape where cacti and scraggy brush eke out an existence among the rocky hills. Proper footwear is a necessity, as is plenty of water to combat the sweltering heat!
