Excellent Experience
“We (2 couples) booked a Daytrip transfer from Lake Bled, Slovenia to Venice, Italy with a sightseeing stop at Predjama Castle. Everything about our Daytrip experience was excellent. The driver arrived to pick us up a bit early, which was perfect. He was helpful and friendly and the vehicle was very clean and roomy. He drove with skill and respect for the others on the road and didn't lose his patience when we were stuck in traffic due to an accident ahead. When we arrived in Venice, he helped us with our luggage and took us to the water taxi. He made sure that we were all settled and ready to go before he left. From the outset of our booking with Daytrip, we were kept informed and all of our questions were answered promptly. Thank you for making our trip from Bled to Venice such a pleasurable experience. An Adventure, not just a Transportation Transfer from Venice to Lake Bled
“We booked a sedan to take us (party of two) from Venice, Italy to Lake Bled, Slovenia on September 28, 2021. The instructions on where to meet in Venice were very clear and accurate. Our driver Andrea arrived on time in a beautiful modern Mercedes sedan. It was large enough for all our bags with plenty of legroom. Andrea was very professional, a safe driver, spoke perfect English, provided bottled water and juice and offered commentary for all the sites we visited. We made four stops along the way, two in Italy and two in Slovenia. Andrea took us directly to the entrance to each of the sites, which included a 4th Century Church with original Roman mosaics, a castle on the Adriatic sea near Trieste, the famous Skocjan Caves in Slovenia (we had time for a two hour walk through the cave complex) and a visit to a castle in Slovenia built into a hillside cave. We arrived at our hotel in Lake Bled right on time and Andrea assisted us with our bags. It was not just a transfer but with the side trips offered also a great adventure. This was our second time booking with mydaytrip.com and we highly recommend their service.”

Lake Bled to Venice
“Our transfer with Daytrip was wonderful. Matija was our driver and he was very pleasant and we had some fun and interesting conversations with him. He provided us with water and snacks which we so appreciated. The vehicle was a Mercedes Van which appeared to be brand new, very clean and comfortable. The next time we need a transfer while in in Europe, we will definitely use Daytrip. We highly recommend them.”

“This was our first experience with Daytrip and it was excellent. Our driver, Marco, was friendly and courteous. We made three stops along the way so we could get a bit of site seeing in and never once felt rushed. Marco's driving was exceptional and we always felt safe. The car was comfortable and clean. Excellent way to travel in Europe!
“My husband and I used mydaytrip twice on our recent trip to Europe. Our first trip was from Venice to Lake Bled where we had a planned stopover in Udine and then in the mountains near Bled. Our driver took us to a fabulous waterfall that wasn't on the itinerary and provided us with lots of local information. Our driver from Split to Sarajevo was also knowledgeable about local history and told us amazing stories of his family. He was able to give us lots of tips about where to eat and what to watch out for on our travels. Both drivers were incredibly careful and safe and the cars were immaculate. This service is fabulous as the drivers take you from door to door, there is plenty of room for luggage and you save on the exorbitant cross border fees from car hire companies. The company is very responsive to communication and provide excellent information for both driver and passengers. Great way to see Europe at your own pace.”

More than just getting from A to B
“We booked My Daytrip to help with the transfer from Lake Bled to Venice. We added stops at Ljubljana, Predjama Castle and Miramare Castle Trieste and are grateful that we did. It was a leisurely transfer and the stops were not only interesting and beautiful, but also pleasantly broke the trip up, causing it to have more of a 'road trip' feel. Our driver Matic was professional and friendly; accommodating with requests and a very safe and confident driver. The overall experience was much more than a transfer and I would highly recommend Daytrip to any traveler wanting to get between European cities in comfort, with a sense of safety and security and with a customised way of seeing more of Europe's hidden treasures.”

FABULOUS, STRESS FREE, TIME SAVING AND RELIABLE
“We recently travelled to Europe and used Daytrip 3 times.
Communication for all 3 trips via email was fast and efficient. They even send a pic of the driver so you can recognise him.
Lucy was our first driver and picked us up from our accomodation in Sorrento right on time in her Mercedes!! She drove us carefully to Positano and chatted to us all the way giving us ideas and tips on this part of the coast. She wanted us to answer her in Italian to practise our language speaking skills.
This wasn't a long trip but certainly easy and convenient door to door travel.
Our second trip was with Attilla K who drove us from Budapest to Ljubjana. From the moment we met Attilla we knew we were in good hands. He was on time waiting for us in the hotel lobby when we arrived. He had a comfortable car, provided water for us and was happy to stop when we wanted coffee and something to eat on the way.
He was happy to chat {when we wanted to} and told us lots about both Hungary and Ljubjana during our 5 1/2 hour trip. At other times he had some music to break the silence.
He was professional, and drove us safely to our destination, even coming inside the hotel in Ljublana to ensure everything was ok.
Attilla has the perfect personality for this job - outgoing, positive and friendly. We would thoroughly recommend him.
Our third driver was Marco. He drove us from Lake Bled to Venice. This was a two hour drive and again Marco was on time and waiting for us when we arrived in the lobby. We left the hotel very early {4am} so we appreciated him stopping for coffee along the way. He played some nice music and chatted to my husband along the way.
He was a nice man, well suited to his job.
All of our drives were excellent. Do not hesitate to book with this company. Even all the drivers said how much they loved working for Daytrip. This service is a real game changer when travelling in Europe. Cost wise, I think it is very reasonable considering the cost of one way flights and other forms of transport in Europe plus the time and effort saved by not having to check in to airports and train stations etc.
Just book them, you'll love it!”

The Best Way to Go From Lake Bled to Venice
“We were initially thinking of renting a car and driving from Bled to Venice -- but once drop off charges and minimal day fees were totaled it was exorbitant. So... in exploring options we came across Daytrip. The company was very responsive from the beginning, keeping us well informed of all details. Our driver, Igor M. was great -- very friendly, professional, informative and pleasant--it was an easy trip, picked up at our hotel and dropped off at the Water Taxi area in Venice by the train station. My wife and I were very pleased and the service is highly recommended.”

Our DayTrip from Venice to Lake Bled
“Peter Založnik was our driver for the DayTrip that we had arranged to transport us from Venice where we had spent three days to Lake Bled where since childhood I'd wanted to see the little church on the island. This was our first trip to Slovenia, the birthplace of all four of my grandparents. My two daughters, Laurie and Valerie, and oldest granddaughter, Emily joined me on this adventure. Peter made our trip from Venice to Bled so enjoyable, comfortable, and so very interesting. He did such a splendid job of telling us so many useful tips and places we should see in Slovenia since we wanted to make the most of the three days we had there before flying from Ljubljana to Athens. Peter had such a profound appreciation for what I wanted from this trip; an insight into why my grandparents loved this amazing little country they called home before they immigrated to America. And truly, I have fallen in love with Slovenia. It was all and more than I expected and thanks to Peter, he knew exactly what not to miss for our first time there. Thank you Peter, and thank you Daytrip for sending him to us; a perfect match.”
