Melanting Waterfalls

Melanting Waterfalls are considered among the most scenic in Bali’s highland region. A trek of only about 300 meters from the main road brings visitors down to the Munduk waterfall, which erupts out of the lush forest to tumble down into a rocky pool where you can take a dip. Continuing down the often-times muddy forest path brings you to the equally beautiful Melanting waterfall, which you first traverse on a bridge before continuing down to its base. For those really crazy for cascades, there’s even a third waterfall farther into the forest! Please note: the hike can be quite wet and muddy, so appropriate apparel is strongly recommended, and it is not advisable for people with mobility issues.
