Museum of Agriculture
Every aspect of rural living is beautifully preserved and presented in this peaceful open-air museum.
Om
Opened in 1964 in an old fire station, the Rev Krzysztof Kluk Museum of Agriculture was moved to the StarzeĆscy countsâ mansion a few years later. Even before the official move, the groundwork was being laid to transform the mansion grounds into an open-air museum. Today, visitors can find 44 historic buildings from the 18th to 20th centuries which were necessary for rural living, from windmills to farm houses, to a smithy, and even beehives. Inside each are the authentic accoutrements such as tools, furniture, and sausages. The thousands of ethnographic and artistic objects in the various buildings, not to mention the buildings themselves, give visitors an in depth look at farm life, and how it advanced, all in a peaceful setting.
