One of Mexico's most awe-inspiring natural wonders, the Two Eyes Cenote features two crystal-clear Maya sinkholes connected by an underground river.
What to see:
- Admire the striking azure waters of two semi-open sinkholes framed by jungle and rock formations
- Spot stalactites and stalagmites lining the underwater passages and cavern walls
What to do:
- Swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear main cenote
- Explore the Bat Cave with a guide through a dimly lit cavern of dramatic formations
What to bring:
- Use biodegradable sunscreen only; chemical products are prohibited to protect the freshwater ecosystem
- Bring water shoes for the rocky paths between the two cenote pools
Take note:
- Entry is approximately 20 USD (350 MXN)
- Open daily 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; arrive early to avoid peak crowds

- Swim or relax on the small beach tucked below the cliff at the ruins
What to bring:
- Wear comfortable shoes and sun protection; the site is open and gets very hot midday
- Dress modestly with covered shoulders when entering the temple structures on site
