Antibes enjoys excellent train connections along the coast. Cannes is 10 minutes away, Nice takes 20 minutes, and Monaco is about 40 minutes. Frequent TER trains make exploring the entire French Riviera convenient and affordable from Antibes as a base.
Antibes is 20 kilometers from Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. The drive takes about 30 minutes.
Antibes' old town is very walkable with pedestrian-friendly streets, though some areas have cobblestones. The coastal paths around Cap d'Antibes offer scenic walking routes. Most beaches, shops, and restaurants are easily accessible on foot from the historic center and train station.
France uses the euro (EUR). ATMs are readily available throughout Antibes and the French Riviera. Credit cards are widely accepted in most establishments, though small cafes and market vendors may prefer cash for small purchases under 10 euros.

French is the official language. In Antibes and along the Cote d'Azur, many people in tourism, hospitality, and shops speak English. However, making an effort to use basic French phrases is appreciated and often results in warmer interactions with locals.

May, June, and September offer ideal conditions with warm weather, pleasant sea temperatures, and fewer crowds than peak summer. July and August are busiest with high temperatures. The shoulder seasons provide comfortable exploration weather and hotel availability at better rates.
