"Our overall experience was very good. Giovanni was very accommodating and when we asked if we could stop to get something to eat on our way to Pompeii, he made sure to stop at a rest stop with a great variety (of good food). And then when (probably due to our stopping to eat) we were going to be about 15 minutes late in meeting our private tour guide for Pompeii - he called her to let her know - and it turned out he knew her as well. And then because he had the time before his next pick up - he drove us through the “scenic route” to get to Sorrento instead of the quicker route through the mountains. The only thing that was the least bit negative was that we were waiting for him outside the door to our apartment in Florence and had to contact him to find out where he was - which was right around the corner. He then walked over and helped us with our luggage so it was not a problem at all - but he could have contacted us to let us know he was around the corner. Again - not a big deal at all though. "
