Lenzerheide is approximately 130 km (81 miles) from Zurich, making it a comfortable day trip by car. The drive takes around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions through the Rhine Valley. From Chur, the nearest major rail hub, it is only about 20 km (12 miles) — roughly 30 to 40 minutes by road. A private transfer handles the full journey door to door, including the scenic mountain approach that no train can replicate.
Public transport from Zurich requires a train to Chur followed by a PostBus connection up the mountain. It works, but the journey involves transfers, fixed timetables, and no flexibility if you want to stop along the way.
