Some viewpoints are reachable by car, offering scenic experiences without strenuous hikes.
Portree and the Isle of Skye are considered very safe destinations. Crime rates are low, and the local community is welcoming. The main risks for outdoor adventurers are related to hiking in remote terrain without proper preparation.
