God's Window

God's Window is one of the famed viewing points of the Blyde River Canyon - one of the largest canyons in the world. Here, sheer cliffs drop 700 - 900 meters into a jungle-filled gorge. One a clear day, you’re treated to views across the lowveld to the distant Lebombo Mountains. On a cloudy day, the viewpoint is high enough that the world appears to be covered in swirling mists. A steep footpath leads up to God’s Window, where you can take in the scene from three viewpoints along the cliff edge, and wander through the lush rainforest on a peaceful boardwalk.
