Lovers' Leap

According to legend, two star-crossed lovers leapt from this 1,700-foot-high cliff rather than be separated by a jealous plantation owner. As they fell, the moon caught them in a golden net, and they watched their silvery savior sink into the sea. The uninterrupted views of the coast are undeniably some of the best on the island, which is why the Jamaican Port Authority built a lighthouse on the cliff top. Perhaps the best way to enjoy the view is in the mountaintop with some classic Jamaican grub. On Sunday, they start the party in the late afternoon with live music and dancing going on into the night.
