Rose Hall Great House

Lose yourself in the beauty, history, and legends of Jamaica’s greatest great house.

About

The Rose Hall Great House was built in the 1770s as the magnificent centerpiece to a sprawling sugar cane plantation. The building fell into ruin after emancipation, but the house lived on thanks to the legend of the "white witch" Annie Palmer who is said to have murdered three husbands and tortured countless slaves in the basement. Former Miss USA Michele Rollins and her entrepreneur husband John Rollins purchased the house and restored it to showcase Rose Hall's slave history, and antique splendor. On a guided tour through the lavishly furnished rooms, you’ll learn about the house’s past, and the chilling stories of love, murder, and the White Witch. Afterwards, head down to the dungeon tavern for a “Witches Brew” to banish any black magic. For more information, please visit https://rosehall.com/
